EDC Dance Studio Inc is looking for a qualified individual to be an assistant studio manager that will be responsible for assisting the head manager with overseeing and managing the studio, staff, building new client relationships, scheduling and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the studio facility. Duties in this role include but not limited to assisting with strategic planning and budgeting, developing studio revenue goals and preparing budget reports, executing marketing/sales plan including coordinating promotions, media relations and mailing lists. In general, all planners must be able to develop and work within budgets and organize themselves and others. You must have excellent marketing abilities, as well as above average oral and written communication skills. You will need to know not only about local venues, but also how those compare to competitive facilities and attractions nationwide. Persons interested in this position should be comfortable working with people. Must have a Bachelor's degree and a background in Public Relations or Marketing. Internship
EDC Dance Studio is currently seeking college students to work at 5 days a week for no more than 4 Hrs. a day. This position is great for someone intersted in becoming a party/event planning, sales, promotions and/or Public Relations etc. Qualified candidates will have an opportunity to gain job experience in a fun, fast pace yet comfortable environment, participate in the hottest new dance/fitness classes in New York City, receive commission on classes, parties, events and product sold. You can also receive school credit. We are looking for very well organized, detail oriented and highly motivated individuals that can manage multiple task in a timely fashion. Also you must have strong communication and writing skills. Graphic & Media experience are a plus.
Duties will consist of the following however are not limited to:
- Media Relations (research press outlets, update media list & write press releases)
- Community Relations
- Public Relations
- Industry Relations
- Party Planning (birthday & bachelorette parties)
- Advertising & Promotions Of Events
- Flyer Distribution
- Special Event Planning
- Developing Themes & Ideas For Events

Volunteer Qualifications at EDC Dance Studio:Must be 18 & over, friendly, have good communications skills, positive attitude, peoples person, open minded, trustworthy, reliable, creative and experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:hospitality, party planning, decorating, customer service etc
