STUDENT RECITALS-EDCDS holds student recitals three times a year fall, winter and spring where we showcase students of all exotic dance and pole dancing levels from beginner, intermediate and advance. Our recitals give our students the hands on experience to demonstrate their new found art form through live expressionism that includes women and men of all ages, shapes, sizes and nationalities. Each recital is created by our artistic director and head choreographer Ms. Alieesah Williams with the assistance of the staff and students of EDCDS. Each recital includes a 1hr production show in which tickets are sold to the student body, their male and female guest who are family members, friends and to the general public. Each recital that is created is designed to follow our devine mission to bridge the gap in the dance community for exotic dance and pole dance to be recognized, seen and respected as an art form in the dance community. All of our students work hard in classes to learn our art form for fun, fitness or just for recreational purposes. Our collective works opens the door for you to come and see for yourself this extraordinary art form that is sweeping the nation and empowering our minds body and souls.    

Audition Invitation-EDCDS gives out audition invitations to the most accomplished students on all beginner, intermediate and advance levels of exotic dance and pole dancing. An audition invitation is an invite to audition for student recitals and performances. Instructors nominate their best students on all levels and the nominatees are submitted to our AD/HC in which they are reviewed and a final selection is made. Please note-Any students who do not receive a audition invitation however feel that they qualify can nominate themselves for an open audition see receptionist at front desk.

All students who have been accepted to the audition please arrive 10-15min before the audition to warmup. The attire you must bring is as follows: T-Shirt/Tank Shirt, Shorts/Yoga Pants, 4-6" Stilleo Heels. The audition will be a 15-30 minute group class in which you will be shown a choreography piece that you must learn.  

Showcases-EDCDS holds several showcases throughout the year where we showcase the talent of EDC Dance troupe. EDCDT is a dance troupe of our instructors and students who have completed community base classes and professional classes. This troupe consist of some of the most talented students along with our extraordinary instructors led by our very own Artistic Director Ms.Alieesah Williams. Our showcases are a culumination of artistry that will demonstrate exotic dance, pole dance, burlesque, belly dance, hip hop, modern and african dance styles in a unique form to express a new art form "Exotic Dance" Dance Styles From Around The World" That Are Strikingly & Charming Different!
